Breakfest on Boxing Day

Western Australia’s favourite boutique dance festival Breakfest rang in the holidays with style this year. DJs from the local scene and from around the world, unreal sets, and 6,000 punters turned the Belvoir Ampitheatre into Perth’s wildest 2015 Xmas party.

The lineup included artists such as Stanton Warriors, A Skillz, DJ Marky and Mafia Kiss, but the highlight was Drum and Bass DJ Danny Byrd. Byrd riled the crowd to classics like Renegade Master and Ready or Not, turning it up like the professional he is.

This year also saw the return of the Tiny Club as well as Beach Volleyball, all in front of a beach-themed stage.

Sets were life-changing and the crowd was great, but we’ve got to take a minute and talk about a bit of work we did supporting the DJ’s. This year, TLS Productions designed a fully customised lighting set – in the shape of a giant sun – to back up each act. We’ve designed and produced numerous lighting installations for Breakfest, but this one is a point of pride for us.
